Where to go on holiday in February: common questions

Where is hot in February half term?

The Caribbean, Mexico's Caribbean coast, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Dubai and Oman are all warm and dry in February. Within about four and a half hours of the UK, Tenerife is the most reliable for sunshine, at around 21°C.

Where is good for skiing in February half term?

Chamonix and Whistler are both at their best, with deep snow and long ski days. Half term is the busiest week of the ski season, so book lift passes and lessons early.

What's a good long-haul trip for February?

Costa Rica, the Galápagos and Cape Town are all in their dry season, and Hoi An and Singapore get easier as the rains ease. Queenstown and Tasmania are in late summer.
