Where is good for an adventure holiday in Europe?
Chamonix, Interlaken, Lofoten, the Faroe Islands and the Azores all have big outdoor days within a short flight of the UK.
Where can we go for adventure in winter?
Costa Rica, the Galápagos Islands, Oman and Queenstown are all at their best between December and February. Rovaniemi is the place for snow.
How long do you need for an adventure holiday?
A week is enough for most European trips. Long-haul places like Costa Rica, Namibia or Torres del Paine are better with two weeks.
