Three days covers the Alhambra, the Albaicín and Sacromonte. Add a day for the Sierra Nevada or a trip to the coast.

How far ahead should you book the Alhambra?

As early as you can, ideally a few weeks ahead, or longer for Easter and summer. Only buy from the official website or a licensed tour, and bring the passport you booked with.

Spring and autumn, around 20 to 26°C. Summer is very hot, and winter is sunny but cold at night.

How do you get to Granada?

Granada's own airport has flights from Madrid, Barcelona and a few other cities. Many people fly into Málaga and take the bus or drive, about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Can you combine Granada with Seville and Córdoba?

Yes, and many people do. Trains link the three cities, and a week covers them all.
